Take
"Long-term holders are accumulating, not distributing. Exchange reserves are at 5-year lows."

The same pattern showed up in Q4 2020 and Q1 2023. On-chain cohort data is consistent with a constructive setup, even if price action looks choppy in the short term.

Take
"Sovereign wealth desks in the Gulf have been building BTC positions via OTC for months."

Fed rate-cut expectations have repriced toward two cuts in 2026. The dollar index is trending lower. Institutional bid is quietly broadening, not narrowing.

About Bitcoin

Bitcoin was introduced in 2008 by an anonymous author using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. The network launched on January 3, 2009 with the mining of the genesis block.

Its monetary policy is fixed: a hard cap of 21 million coins, issuance halving roughly every four years, and no governance body capable of changing either constraint.

Frequently Asked

Is Bitcoin a security?

The SEC has historically treated Bitcoin as a commodity rather than a security, a position reaffirmed across multiple administrations.

What is a halving?

Every 210,000 blocks (~4 years) the block subsidy paid to miners is cut in half, constraining new supply until the 21M cap is asymptotically reached.

How many bitcoins are lost?

Estimates range from 2.5–3.8M BTC permanently lost to forgotten keys, destroyed drives, and early-era dust, effectively tightening the realised supply.

Accumulation phase textbook — watch exchange reserves, not price. Whales are quietly resetting cost basis.

The rotation from alts back to majors is real. I'm sizing into ETH on every wick below $3.7K.

Macro tail is constructive through Q2: two rate cuts priced in, DXY weakening, sovereign desks accumulating. BTC $120K base case isn't spicy — it's boring consensus now.
